Secret 3, Make Money Blogging

A blog started out as something like an online journal or diary where you can post articles about yourself, your interests and your daily activities.

In short, a blog actually stands for a web log (weblog).

The powerful thing about blogging is that it doesn’t require someone to know website design or any sort of programming to start a blog.

Now anyone can start a blog for free with online blog services.

2 of the most popular platforms are,

1. Blogger

2. Wordpress

and many more… just search “free blog” on Google.

So how can I make money blogging?

First of all, blogs are like personal websites, except you do not need a website designer to create it for you. You can do it all by yourself and it’s really simple.

Just try creating a simple blog on Blogger or Wordpress first for fun, just to get yourself familiar with blogging.

Then notice that you can add advertisements on the sidebars of your blogs, like banner ads or text link ads.

On the right side of my blog, do you see some 125×125 pixel square banner ads?

If you remember in my previous article, secret 2 “Affiliate Marketing” we talked about joining affiliate programs as an affiliate.

As an affiliate, you will have your own personal affiliate link code for whatever products that you are promoting.

In your blog, you can write a simple product review and add your affiliate link code at the bottom of that article.

If someone reads that article, then clicks on your link and visits your merchant’s website, chances are that they might buy something and that results in a commission for you!

So the basic idea is to start your own blog just like mine, write interesting articles and add in your affiliate link codes and banner ads in and around your blog.

Now, there is also another even more powerful way to earn passive income from your blog.

And it’s called Google Adsense.

Google has tons of advertisers who want to place ads on your blog and so Google has come up with a powerful system that generates relevant advertisements on your blog or any website.

All you have to do is copy a simple piece of code and add it to your blog articles or sidebars and Google’s system does the rest. It’s totally automatic.

Once you have placed Google’s advertising codes on your blog, whenever a unique visitor clicks on those ads displayed on your blog, Google pays you a share of their ad revenue.

It won’t be alot of money at first because Google only pays around $0.10 or more per click, but it varies depending on how much the advertisers bid on those ads.

However, imagine if your blog gets 1000 visitors a day and 500 of those unique visitors click on those Google ads, that’s 500 x $0.10 = $50.

For doing nothing except writing your blog, your visitors have helped you earn $50!

If that happens every day for 30 days in a month, you will be earning an extra income of $1500 while you sleep!

But just take note, do not click on your own Google ads yourself, because Google can detect fraudulent activity and will ban your account. So don’t try to be too smart if you know what i mean.

So you can make money blogging and it’s really simple to start.
