Affiliate or associate program networks are companies that consolidate a large group of online businesses or “advertisers” under their umbrella network by providing them the technology to set up their affiliate programs.

They also provide a ready marketplace of hundreds or even thousands of affiliates or “publishers” that help the advertisers promote their products or services online.

Here’s a list of some of the most established affiliate networks in the industry today:

1. Clickbank – only digital products and services

2. Linkshare – LinkShare clients include Fortune 500 and other prominent and emerging companies doing business online, including J.C. Penney, 1-800-Flowers.com, American Express, and Avon Products.
