Social bookmarking is a method for Internet users to store, organize, search, and manage bookmarks of web pages on the Internet.
Due to its popularity, it has also become a tool to use along with search engine optimization to make your website more visible. The more often a web page is submitted and tagged, the better chance it has of being found.
Here’s some social bookmarking services that I use personally to build free traffic to my website or blog.

1) Digg - Digg is a place for people to discover and share content from anywhere on the web. From the biggest online destinations to the most obscure blog, Digg surfaces the best stuff as voted on by it’s users. The idea with Digg is to “Digg” articles on your blog or website and it will appear on Digg’s recommended list where other Digg members might read it and visit your site.
2) StumbleUpon - StumbleUpon is a free service that helps you discover and share websites with others who have similar interests. The more you use their service, the more likely it is that you’ll “Stumble” across pages you like. The idea is to Stumble! your own blog or website pages so that other StumbleUpon members might just Stumble Upon your web page literally.
